Have you ever considered the day when your parent, grandparent or elderly loved one can no longer cook for themselves? The meal they can prepare for themselves may no longer provide the vital nutrition needed in the aging process. Since 1973, TVCCA has been providing meals to senior citizens in Eastern Connecticut. In fiscal year 2019, TVCCA provided meals to more than 3,000 senior residents. The Meals on Wheels Program allows seniors to continue to live with dignity and respect in their own home.

TVCCA’s Annual Gala was created by a committee of caring individuals who know and understand the importance of good nutrition and the daily "Well" check-up provided to seniors by the Meals on Wheels program. With a sellout crowd of 400 each year, TVCCA's Gala has successfully raised over $300,000 over the past nine years because of our local businesses, community groups, and private citizens. These funds have a direct impact on client services and allow TVCCA Meals on Wheels to continue to serve hot, nutritious meals to our most vulnerable seniors.
